The office is easy to reach by public transport (trams 4 and 6, metro M3 from Nyugati tér, and bus 15) and by car.
Please note that bicycles and electric scooters cannot be brought into the office. There is a bicycle rack in the courtyard of the building where a bicycle can be locked. Anything left in the courtyard is left at the owner’s own risk; the office accepts no liability for it.

Common questions

How does an instruction begin?
Send an email setting out in a few sentences what the matter concerns. You will have a substantive reply within a few working days — including where that reply is that more information is needed. We then arrange a time to go through the detail.
What does a matter cost?
The scope of the instruction and the basis of charging — hourly or fixed fee, whichever suits the matter — are agreed in writing before the matter is taken on. There are no later costs that were not agreed in advance.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Meetings are by prior arrangement, which means there is enough time set aside for your matter. The office is in central Budapest, on Vígszínház utca, a few minutes from Nyugati tér.
What kinds of matters does the office take on?
Property law, condominium and housing co-operative law, corporate law, contracts and e-commerce, copyright and patents, employment law, company representation and family law. In practice they frequently meet — on the sale of a company, corporate, employment and copyright questions can all arise at once.
In employment matters, do you act for employers or employees?
The office accepts instructions from both — though, naturally, only one side in any given matter. For employees the work is typically reviewing a termination and conducting the dispute; for employers it tends to be preventative: contracts and policies kept in order.
Can matters be handled in English or French?
Yes. Matters can be handled in Hungarian, English or French, and contracts and advice can be prepared in either foreign language.
